I bought this ELISE curtain bang set for a photoshoot. I was going for a Rockabilly theme and this hairstyle saved us so much time on set. I am used to doing my hair and working with faux pieces so I didn’t have much trouble with application. It comes with extra bobby pins and a satin headband which I thought was too thin for the look I was going for. I ended up wearing this style with a plaid scarf. The hair quality is superb! Soft, fluffy hair that moves in the wind. The color Raisin blended perfectly with my jet black hair. I honestly like this hairpiece invention and hope Lars Leroux will create more retro styles.

I was hesitant to try this bun because it’s an unusual style for a hairpiece and I could not find any reviews about this company anywhere. I was afraid it would be one of those scam companies located in China that would make returns impossible. I emailed Lars Leroux a couple times and learned that they are in Atlanta. Based on their helpful response and perfect English I decided to give it a shot. The box arrived in Ohio within 4 days. The hairpiece is well constructed. The hair is very full and the quality of the hair is good. It doesn’t have that shiny, plastic, cheap look that I was afraid of getting. I have dark brown hair but bought this bun in color Rose Gold because I wanted a pink color. The hairpiece has striated dark colored roots so the Rose Gold color looks like it was intended for Brunettes. The application process was at first confusing as I was unsure whether to clip on the bangs first, or attach the bun portion first. I watched the Lars Leroux tutorial and it demonstrated how to attach the bun first, then pull the bangs forward and snap the clips. After doing this the bangs looked a little heavy so I had to use its center parting as a guide and deliberately brush the bangs to the left and right side to get the curtain bang effect. The hairpiece comes with a headband which looks very cute and gives a vintage look. Overall, I like this hairpiece. It’s a nice fun style that allows me to experiment with bright colors without dyeing my actual hair.

This is an elegant bun and bang combo. It comes as an all-in-one piece so it is a good value for the price. I used the entire pack of Bobby pins to make sure all parts were secure. The free gifts were a pleasant surprise. I really liked the aqua colored headband that came in the box. Thank you. Will buy from you again.
